I am interested in the formation, structure, and evolution of planets, both in our solar system and in extrasolar systems. Using a combination of numerical modeling and analytic calculations, I work to understand the primary physical and chemical processes that control the observed properties of planets. I take a multidisciplinary approach in order to fully leverage the range of observational constraints that are available. Use the links on the left to explore some of the topics I am working on.
